People try to get rich through Initial Coin Offerings and Cryptocurrency. Another way of earning money is to search for bugs and security risks in ICO’s and cryptocurrency code. Ethical hacker Guido Vranken knows where we’re talking about. He has made $120.000 in a week finding bugs in the EOS code. Hackers that would spot potentially dangerous bugs in the code were given $10.000 per flaw.
In one day, the Dutch hacker already found eight dangerous bugs, earning him $80.000. According to Vranken himself his final tally was $120.000, but ‘he lost count’. The whole process took him about a week.
How to make $80k in one day: Blockchain bugs. Congrats @GuidoVranken and best of luck on your future bugs! #bugbounty @Hacker0x01 Find bugs on @eos_io and get rewarded on HackerOne! https://t.co/YpsA2LdIA0 #EOS pic.twitter.com/ZHrr6ifoKV

Thank you. A couple more waiting to be rewarded. I think the final tally was $120K but I lost count. Took me about a week.

The EOS mainnet was released last Saturday and the new blockchain is expected to go live in the next couple of days.
In the EOS community on Reddit it was suggested that Block.one, the company behind EOS, should hire Vranken. Vranken replied himself stating that they already did. We’ll follow up on this story to see if Guido will take the job!
